In earlier times, Dawnlander was a nickname for the people of New England—the first Americans to greet the sun each day. To capture the stone fences and roaring hearths of yesteryear, we created this saison. Dawnlander is brewed with our 2-row base malt, rye, oats, and cherrywood smoked malt then hopped with Northern Brewer, Cascade, and Bravo. The resulting saison combines citrus, subtle smoke, and tropical fruit, resulting in a peppery beer that drinks with a flavor reminiscent of grilled pineapple. It’s Maine heritage, made sippable.
