Moira is reddish black in color and has aromas of fresh citrus – orange, grapefruit, lemon – mixed with pine, straw and spice. Flavors of mocha, chocolate and grassy hop notes are followed by a balanced finish. We brew this beer with Maris Otter and Pilsner malts, as well as oats and Midnight Wheat. It is hopped with Northern Brewer, Hallertau and Sorachi Ace in the brewhouse, fermented with a Belgian “dark” style yeast for 5 weeks, and dry-hopped with Azacca prior to packaging.
