If you’ve followed us for any length of time, you know that we love pairing beer and food. Given that, it was intensely gratifying to see the impact of our beer and lobster roll pairing on the participants of the Charleston Wine + Food Festival. In short: people loved them.
Nearly one thousand lobster rolls per day for three days straight. Thousands of pours of four different Allagash beers. One Danny McBride sighting. All of these numbers, impressive though they are, only just begin to capture the memorable time we had. Below, you’ll find a photo recap of some of our favorite memories of the event. And if you didn’t make it out this year, let this be a push to grab a ticket next year.
Allagash White and an Eventide lobster roll. A quintessential taste of Maine.
A nearly bird’s eye view of the festival.
A beautiful sight.
At “It’s a Shore Thing” we celebrated seafood with chefs and guests alike.
Oysters, shucking knives, and the most essential item: a bottle of Allagash White.
The aforementioned Danny McBride sighting.

We also took some time to experience the city of Charleston itself with our friend Max (known in the beer world as @SCBeernerd). We’ll be posting that blog soon.
