Philly Beer Week (running from June 1st-10th) is one giant hodgepodge of craft beer-related awesomeness. So many great breweries descend on Philadelphia for an entire week of wonderful events. We’re happy to say we’re in on the fun in a big way. Below, you’ll find a list of every event where you’ll be able to find some Allagash beer pouring. See you out there!
Opening Tap Party
Where: The Filmore – 29 E Allen St, Philadelphia, PA 19123
What: Join us in kicking off Philly Beer Week with the signature event: Opening Tap. 50+ breweries, 100+ styles, live music- DJ appearance by Allagash’s very own Suzy Woods!
Opening Tap Afterparty
Where: Garage Fishtown – 100 E Girard Ave, Philadelphia, PA 19125
What: After Opening Tap, this is the afterparty to be a part of.
Wild & Sour Flight Extravaganza
Where: Beer Love – 714 S 4th St, Philadelphia, PA 19147
What: Join us for our 3rd Annual Wild & Sour Flight Extravaganza with over 30+ wild, sour, and funky beers! On Friday night enjoy a cheese plate (or two), specially selected to paired with your flights by Matt Budenstein, Local chef and cheesemonger, from Buddah Cheese!
Morning Wood Beer Brunch
Where: Grey Lodge – 6235 Frankford Ave, Philadelphia, PA 19135
What: A bunch of interesting oak barrel-aged Allagash beers on tap, plus brunch specials.
Where: Varga Bar – 941 Spruce St, Philadelphia, PA 19107
What: This huge block party is hosted by Varga bar. We’ll have White and Hoppy Table Beer on draft inside. Live music, fun, and games!
Where: Bottle Bar East – 1308 Frankford Ave, Philadelphia, PA 19125
What: Come out for a taste of sour beer all weekend long.
Crabs, Kids, Dogs, and Beer
Where: Bonk’s Bar – 3467 Richmond St, Philadelphia, PA 19134
What: Bonks is shutting down the street for a kid- and dog-friendly block party. Crabs on special, Beers from Allagash, Heavy Seas, Harpoon, and Evolution. There will be kid activities (including a bouncy house!), and Morris Animal Refuge will be there with adoptable puppies. A percentage of profits will go to the Animal Refuge.
Beer From Away: The Mainerd Event
Where: Brü Craft & Wurst – 1316 Chestnut St, Philadelphia, PA 19107
What: We’ve partnered with Bru to create Maine-inspired food specials. Think Damariscotta Oysters, Seafood Rolls, and more. Plus, we’ll have some rare Allagash beers on tap including Wild Rivulet, Victoria, St. Klippenstein and more.
The Wild Brunch
Where: Cinder – 1500 Locust St, Philadelphia, PA 19102
When: 6/3 and 6/10—10:00am-3:00pm
What: We’ll be serving up two of our rare sour beers (Coolship Red and Pick Your Own) along with thirteen other breweries. Come for the beer, stay for the brunch.
Omme-gash it’s Alla-gang (7th Anniversary)
Where: Good Dog Bar – 224 S 15th St, Philadelphia, PA 19102
What: Omme-gash! It’s Alla-gang!!! Ommegang Brewing and Allagash Brewing are back together again with everyone’s favorite beer ladies of Philly!!! Megan Maguire and Suzy Woods will be here with a bunch of amazing beers!
Where: Taproom on 19th – 2400 S 19th St, Philadelphia, PA 19145
What: Los Gallos will bringing their taco setup over to the Taproom for some of the BEST rotisserie tacos around. Plus, a bunch of great Allagash beers round this one out.
Beer Quizzo – with Allagash and Bells Brewing
Where: Strangelove’s – 216 S 11th St, Philadelphia, PA 19107
What: Exactly what it sounds like! This Quizzo night will feature beers from both Bells and Allagash on tap. Trivia and beer are like PB&J. This one will be an awesome time.
7th Annual Allagash Sausage Bash
Where: Time – 1315 Sansom St, Philadelphia, PA 19107
What: Flights of Allagash beers will be paired by Chef Mackenzie Hilton with a curated list of different sausages. Live music rounds out this one. Trust us, these pairings taste amazing.
Where: Tria Taproom – 2005 Walnut St, Philadelphia, PA 19103
What: Allagash is funk-ifying the Tria taproom in honor of their spontaneously fermented Coolship Beer. Coolship Red, an oak-aged, spontaneously fermented beer aged on raspberries, rarely makes it out of the brewery to enjoy. This year, they’ve brewed and blended enough to share around.
Guests will also enjoy some inventive beer and cheese pairings, courtesy of the fine minds in Tria’s kitchen.
Crumpets and Trumpets Brunch

What: An Allagash brunch featuring homemade crumpets and jazz music (aka trumpets).
