Coolship beer enthusiasts, this one is for you. We’re super excited to introduce a new tour at Allagash purely about spontaneous fermentation: The Coolship Tour
On this special tour, guests will get a firsthand view of the brewing process, sample a range of our Coolship beer, and cap off the experience by witnessing one of only ten Coolship batches we’ll brew each year.
Because of the highly weather-dependent nature of our coolship brewing process, we’re only able to schedule these tours during Coolship season (between Nov. and December) on the evening before they’re held. Yeah, the night before. We know that’s tough, but it’s the only way we can guarantee that you’ll be there for the brewing of a real-life batch of Coolship beer. Only eight spots will be available on each tour to ensure you have a memorable experience.
