Short answer: it’s awesome!
It’s also busy, fast-paced, customer-oriented, and multi-faceted. Days are split up between many different tasks: pouring beer, stocking merchandise and beer in the cooler, ringing people up at the register, checking ID’s, keeping things sparkly, and lastly but certainly not leastly: making sure our guests have a phenomenal experience. Phew!
You do not have to be a beer expert to work in our tasting room. A genuine curiosity and willingness to learn about brewing, fermentation, beer styles, and history are key. This is also a highly social role. We have found people who really like chatting with folks and are energized by working with the public generally have the most success.
