We’re more than excited to announce that we earned significant accolades at the 2021 Great American Beer Festival (GABF). For the first time ever, we earned the honor of Brewery and Brewer of the Year in the 15,001 – 100,000 barrels per year category.
Additionally, our flagship beer Allagash White took home silver in the Belgian-style Witbier category out of 121 entries, and Allagash Tripel won silver in the Belgian-style Abbey Ale category out of 98 entries.

“We love what we do and care deeply about the quality of the beers we make, and we’re honored and humbled to be recognized for that,” our founder, Rob Tod, said. “It’s been a particularly challenging and enlightening year and a half. But we’ve been able to weather the storm and, from our perspective, come out on the other side even stronger. Being honored at GABF feels like validation for all of the hard work we’ve put in.”
For those who aren’t familiar, GABF is one of the biggest beer competitions in America. Throughout our history, we’ve been honored to win 18 total Great American Beer Festival medals for our beers.
“There are so many truly awesome brewers around the country, and we feel lucky and proud to be among them,” said Jason Perkins, our Brewmaster. “Congratulations to all the winners, and an extra special cheers to our former Allagash colleagues Steve Luke and Zach Kornfeld from Cloudburst Brewing on their wins as well.”
Thanks, as always, for your support.
Sincerely,
Your friends at Allagash
