How to start building sustainability practices for any brewery

If we’ve learned one thing about sustainability, it’s that many small choices add up to a large impact. Below, we’ve put together seven of the small(ish) decisions that we’ve made as we’ve grown as a brewery that have helped us to continue to brew more sustainably and efficiently—all in the hopes of helping other breweries implement more sustainable practices.

Pale Ales vs. IPAs – What’s the difference?

Pale ale and IPA (historically called India Pale Ale) are two of the most well-known beer styles. Despite similar names, in reality they are part of an extremely diverse group in the pale ale family that have significant overlapping characteristics.

I like IPAs. What other beer should I try?

At this point in time, the most widely available style of craft beer is the IPA (India Pale Ale). This wildly popular and sometimes polarizing style can range from clear to hazy to bitter to juicy. The style’s predominant flavor comes from the higher amount of hops used in the brewing process which provide a pop of tropical fruit, herbs, citrus, or stone fruit (etc.) depending on the hop varieties used.
