Bourbon Barrel-Aged Stout with Maple Syrup

For this year’s special Maine Maple Sunday beer, we aged our North Sky stout in Jim Beam barrels for six months with maple syrup from Dunn Family Maple in Buxton, ME. Notes of vanilla, toffee, brown sugar, chocolate, and coffee intermingle with hints of whiskey, date, oak, and marzipan.
