Dark Sour Ale Brewed with Honey
Hive 56 is a barrel-aged dark sour ale brewed with fresh honey from our very own beehives. Its variety of dark and caramel malts give the beer a deep mahogany color filled with undertones of dark chocolate. A year of fermentation with a special blend of yeast strains—in a large barrel called a foudre—develops aromas of strawberry, lemon, and even tropical fruit. Cheers, from our hive to yours.
