Barrel-Aged Stout on Coffee Beans
BA Coffee Stout
We aged our North Sky stout in bourbon and rum barrels. Then we blended those two barrels together and rested the beer on coffee beans from Speckled Ax for a single day. The result is this rich and roasty beer with notes of chocolate, coffee, rum, caramel, and oak.
Spices/Other: Ethiopia Worka Sakaro Natural coffee from Speckled Ax, aged in rum and bourbon barrels
