Monthly Charitable Partner
Any money above and beyond their tab that a guest chooses to leave with us goes straight to our charity of the month. June’s Charitable Partner of the Month is the Trans Youth Equality Foundation.
They advocate for transgender, gender non-conforming, and intersex youth ages 2–18, offering support, education, classes, etc. for youth, parents, healthcare professionals and educators. They offer resources to help youth navigate school as well as college, and they also offer school training workshops to educate staff and teachers about the needs of the trans, gender non-conforming and intersex community. They are based in Portland and offer support groups in Portland and Bangor, but they will sponsor support groups around the country.

We welcome guests from out of state and only ask that you adhere to the State of Maine guidelines for out-of-state travelers. Starting May 1, Maine exempted all states from travel restrictions, unless otherwise determined by the Maine CDC. If one or more states see a spike in cases of highly contagious COVID-19 variants, Maine will apply its test or quarantine requirement to travelers to and from that state.
Per Maine CDC guidelines, we do not require masks at this time, as all seating is outside. We do ask that if you are experiencing any symptoms related to COVID-19, please remain at home.
Per Maine CDC guidelines regarding masking when outdoors, we do not require our staff to wear masks outdoors now that they are fully vaccinated.
Per Maine CDC updated guidelines regarding outdoor tasting room areas, we will not be spacing tables apart.
What to do when you arrive
We don’t require reservations and offer first-come, first-serve seating. We can’t wait to see you!
Sorry, but we will not be able to contact you to let you know a space has opened up unless you are at our check-in podium.
How long is the wait for a table? / I’m on my way to the brewery. Is there a wait? / Can you put me on the waitlist?
Sorry, we don’t have an online or telephone waitlist. If the space is at maximum capacity upon your arrival at our check-in podium, we will admit your party when an equal number of guests leave the space.
We’re sorry, but with our reduced capacity we cannot reserve tables at this time.
What to expect onsite
Children and infants are welcome; we just ask that they remain with your party at all times.
Friendly, well-behaved dogs are always welcome!
Our parking lot will accommodate roughly half as many cars as it did prior to our tasting room closing in 2020. We recommend seeking a spot in our lot or parking safely alongside Industrial Way.
We are Porta Potty only for now. We have wheelchair accessible Porta Potties and a covered baby changing area.
There will be running water, sink, soap, paper towels, and hand sanitizer available.
Check out our online menu!
We will offer our beers in 8oz, 12oz, or 16oz pours, including brewery-exclusive beers.
We will offer a selection of lower-alcohol beers in this format.
Custom flights are consistently time-consuming to fulfill, so we have made the difficult decision to hold off on offering flights for now in an effort to ensure that all of our guests will be able to get a chalice of beer in their hands as quickly as possible. We look forward to offering flights again as soon as we’re able to do so!
We will be using our signature chalice glassware for onsite consumption. Please know that we wash our glassware in professional high-temp dishwashers using industrial-strength sanitizer.
We do plan to offer certain cans and bottles of our beer for you to enjoy onsite, including brewery-exclusive options.
Ordering food isn’t required but the Bite Into Maine food truck will be on site if you’d like to order something to eat.
Yes! Bite Into Maine will be onsite serving their award-winning lobster rolls, burgers, sandwiches, non-alcoholic drinks, and snacks. Please visit allagash.com/visit for more information and hours of operation.
Bite Into Maine will open when the tasting room opens and close roughly 30 minutes prior to our closing time. That said, their days and hours of operation are subject to change and will be updated on the website at allagash.com/visit.
Beers To Go
Absolutely! You can purchase beer to go while you are ordering your beer to drink here and we can keep it safe and cool for you until you are ready to leave.
Can I buy beer to go without waiting for a table first? What if there’s no room to sit and I want to at least buy beer to-go?
Once you check in at our podium, you can come through our “beer to go” line and order it directly there if we are not at maximum capacity.
Tours & Indoor Seating
We have no current plans to offer tours through the summer. The risk of allowing guests into the brewery is too great at this time, though we do look forward to offering them again when we feel as though we can safely resume them.
Service will be outdoor only for now. However, we offer plenty of covered areas that offer protection from sun and rain.
Unfortunately we have a small indoor space that limits our ability to distance our guests properly and we’re using that space to be able to effectively serve our guests outside. We’ve set up both covered and open areas outdoors to accommodate as best we can for different preferences. We look forward to the day when we can welcome our guests back into the building for pours and tours!
