Tasting Room Donations

We don’t take tips in our tasting room. Rather than having our staff rely on the generosity of our guests, we’d rather ensure all of our employees receive a living wage and robust benefits, year-round. If you’re interested to learn more about our policy around tips, click the button below.

Doing Right by our Employees

If you want to recognize the quality of your experience at our tasting room beyond the cost of beer, any extra funds that you decide to give above your tab will be donated to one of our specially selected charitable partners.

Our Charitable Partner

Our current Charitable Partner is Apex Youth Connection.

Apex challenges comfort zones and expands perceptions, gently pushing youth to set and reach goals they never thought possible. Their programs, which include a youth-run bike shop, build youth up from the inside, making them stronger, more confident, and more competent.

At Allagash Brewing Company, all are welcome.

We do not discriminate based on race, ethnic origin, religion, disability, age, nationality, veteran status, sexual orientation, gender, or gender identity.

We expect our guests to join us in welcoming and respecting everyone in our Tasting Room. As such, we do not allow hate speech, display of items referencing/inciting hate speech, or any form of harassment.

Our employees wear Allagash Leaf pins and are trained to address disrespectful actions. If you experience or observe anything that makes you uncomfortable, look for the Leaf pin and reach out.

Please keep in mind that Allagash Brewing Company reserves the right to refuse service to any individual at any time. While we understand that we all have our unique viewpoints and opinions, we will address issues that create an unsafe or unwelcome atmosphere.

Thank you for visiting us and creating a welcoming environment for all of our guests.

Oh, and also:

  • Please do not join us today if you feel ill, have a fever or cough, or have come into contact with someone who has or is suspected to have COVID-19.
  • We’re following all Maine CDC guidelines to provide you and our staff a safe experience.
  • We’re only offering outdoor seating at this time, including our covered, heated patio. We have fire pits and additional covered/heated spaces, but please dress accordingly!
  • While we no longer offer brewery tours, we do offer immersive, ticketed experiences involving our wild and barrel-aged beers inside the brewery at The Cellars at Allagash.
  • We welcome well-behaved dogs on a leash.

Thanks for helping keep our staff safe and the beer flowing!
