- All service is outdoors.
- Hand sanitizer is readily available to all guests and staff.
- We use single-use compostable cups.
- We do not require our guests to be vaccinated at this time, in accordance with Maine CDC guidelines.
We welcome guests from out of state and only ask that you adhere to the State of Maine guidelines for out-of-state travelers. Maine exempted all states from travel restrictions, unless otherwise determined by the Maine CDC. If one or more states see a spike in cases of highly contagious COVID-19 variants, Maine will apply its test or quarantine requirement to travelers to and from that state.
Per Maine CDC guidelines regarding masking when outdoors, we do not require our staff to wear masks outdoors now that they are fully vaccinated.
Per Maine CDC updated guidelines regarding outdoor tasting room areas, we will not be spacing tables apart.
What to do when you arrive
We don’t require reservations and offer first-come, first-serve seating. We can’t wait to see you!
Sorry, but we will not be able to contact you to let you know a space has opened up unless you are at our check-in podium.
How long is the wait for a table? / I’m on my way to the brewery. Is there a wait? / Can you put me on the waitlist?
Sorry, we don’t have an online or telephone waitlist. If the space is at maximum capacity upon your arrival at our check-in podium, we will admit your party when an equal number of guests leave the space.
We’re sorry, but with our reduced capacity we cannot reserve tables at this time.
What to expect onsite
Children and infants are welcome; we just ask that they remain with your party at all times.
Friendly, well-behaved dogs are always welcome!
We recommend seeking a spot in our parking lot or parking safely alongside Industrial Way.
We will allow masked guests to use our indoor bathrooms, regardless of vaccination status. Masks are required and we have them available should you find yourself without one.
We will offer our beers in 8oz, 12oz, or 16oz pours, depending on the particular beers we have available. These include brewery-exclusive beers.
We will offer a selection of lower-alcohol beers in this format.
Custom flights are consistently time-consuming to fulfill, so we have made the difficult decision to hold off on offering flights for now in an effort to ensure that all of our guests will be able to get a chalice of beer in their hands as quickly as possible. We look forward to offering flights again as soon as we’re able to do so!
The reorganization of our tasting space will prevent us from utilizing our dishwashers, so we will be pouring all of our beers into single-use compostable cups. We will have different sizes available, depending on the size you select at the bar. All cups will be composted through Garbage to Garden, a local curbside composting company that turns food waste into garden compost.
We do plan to offer certain cans and bottles of our beer for you to enjoy onsite, including brewery-exclusive options.
Ordering food isn’t required but the Bite Into Maine food truck will be on site if you’d like to order something to eat.
Yes! Bite Into Maine will be onsite serving their award-winning lobster rolls, burgers, sandwiches, non-alcoholic drinks, and snacks. Please visit allagash.com/visit for more information and hours of operation.
Bite Into Maine will open when the tasting room opens and close roughly 30 minutes prior to our closing time. That said, their days and hours of operation are subject to change and will be updated on the website at allagash.com/visit.
Beers To Go
Absolutely! You can purchase beer to go while you are ordering your beer to drink here and we can keep it safe and cool for you until you are ready to leave.
Can I buy beer to go without waiting for a table first? What if there’s no room to sit and I want to at least buy beer to-go?
Once you check in at our podium, you can come through our “beer to go” line and order it directly there if we are not at maximum capacity.
Tours & Indoor Seating
We have no current plans to offer tours. The risk of allowing guests into the brewery is too great at this time, though we do look forward to the possibility of offering them again when we feel as though we can safely resume them.
Service will be outdoors only for now. However, we offer plenty of covered and heated areas that offer protection from the elements.
Unfortunately we have a small indoor space, and we’re using that space to be able to effectively serve our guests outside. We’ve set up both covered and open areas outdoors to accommodate as best we can for different preferences. We do allow fully masked guests inside to use our bathrooms.
