How fresh are the hops in this beer? Very. We added Nugget and Cascade hops from the Hop Yard in Gorham, Maine, the same day they were harvested. These whole-leaf hops add a layer of aroma and flavor to this dry and aromatic saison. Think notes of melon, pine, and grapefruit riding on a peppery and thirst-quenching ale.
